Nolan, Day Four

You might notice a theme for most of today’s photos, even though Mother’s Day is officially over.  I am in awe watching Karlyn with Nolan; she is so confident and calm and loving. And, from the photographic evidence, it’s pretty clear where Nolan gets his hair color!

Nolan’s dad Chris captured his blue-decked son in the next photo.

And, finally, I’m not sure what he was doing to himself here, but he sure looks cute!

Kendall and Brothers

Watching 18 month old Kendall race from one playground prop to another, I had trouble remembering that a year ago she was recovering from open heart surgery. She is not only adorable, but fearless! She and her brothers, Joey and Grant, along with their mother and grandmother, made this photo session one of my most rewarding. Every once in awhile, I got them to pause to pose, but mostly, I just followed them and was rewarded with great photos and a great time.kendall-1

The following is my favorite photo of all, though, because it shows a mother’s love for her daughter as the daughter, safely in her arms, looks for the next adventure.

April (Snow)Showers

Okay, I know I live in Parker, Colorado, and that it can snow pretty much any time of the year.  But I am ready for green lawns, budding flowers, and warm sunshine! At the same time, I do have to admit, however reluctantly, that snow can be rather pretty as it melts off fresh GREEN spring leaves!
