Newborn Nicholas
My photo shoot with Melissa and Chip and Nicholas (and their two exuberant golden retrievers!) truly was a joy. One of the best parts of photographing newborns is watching the parents and baby communicate with each other. And, when awake, Nicholas really knows how to communicate. His favorite time was snuggled with either mom or dad and his LEAST favorite time was naked. Clothed or not, Nicholas is so beautiful it doesn’t really matter. And the love Mel and Chip have for Nicholas shines so clearly, I can just let the photos speak for themselves.
And it’s always fun to see how one photo looks with different effects applied.

Kathy, we love these photos! You did such a great job capturing Nicholas, and our only problem is figuring out which photo is our favorite. To make it easy, we’re just going to order all of them! Thank you again for such a wonderful photo session. We’re already looking forward to having you back to our house to capture Nicholas when he’s a bit older!
